About the Host
Hello and welcome. I love being a hostess in the beautiful city of New Smyrna Beach. I was born and raised in Florida, and I have a passion for setting up the perfect environment for your vacation. Since I was a child, I always focussed on small elements that no one else noticed. I loved creating things and saw beauty in the small details. But, because creating was so fun and came naturally to me, it never occurred to me that it could be my livelihood.
My career started in computer programming, Oracle Database, specifically. I consulted with large corporations and later found more satisfaction in helping smaller local companies build success. Meanwhile, my husband threw himself into work at a startup, and we had two small children. I appreciated the financial stability my work offered, but there was always something missing in my career. After 15 years, I was finally able to focus on my children after my husband had an exit from his startup. I used this time to focus on being a mom and homemaker. For a while, this consisted of learning to sew and embroider, which allowed me to make my children's clothes. Next, I started contributing to my children’s themed class parties, creating everything from Willy Wonka, Viking, and Charlotte’s Web-themed water bottle labels and food displays where I could focus on the smallest of details.
We moved from Orlando shortly after, and I had the opportunity to set up our house in Winter Park, then Tiburon, Manhattan, and finally our home in Maitland, where we live today. I continue to hone these skills in remodeling projects and new real-estate investments. I was able to combine all the skills I have learned from being a mom, traveling, staying in hotels, and setting up new houses. I focussed my energy and passion on organizing our homes and making our spaces beautiful and functional places to live, not just for our family but also for our guests. Making your environment comfortable and organized and your stay here enjoyable and relaxing; has become my passion.
My goal is to make sure all your needs are met and make you feel at home. I live nearby, and I'm available if you need anything. I would be thrilled to host you in my beautiful condo.
